India defeated Netherlands by 17 runs in Ahmedabad. In spite of the world’s number one batsman scoring his third consecutive duck, India still managed to put up a respectable 193-6, thanks to an impressive 66 from Shivam Dube and a late 30 from Hardik Pandya. The Netherlands showed that they are no pushover as they reached 176-7, but were eventually held back by the excellent bowling performance of Varun Chakravarthy, who took 14-3, and Dube’s two wickets.
